Norwegian skier Henrik Kristoffersen secured a commanding lead in the men's slalom skiing competition at the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup in Adelboden, Switzerland, on Sunday. Kristoffersen posted a combined time of 1 minute and 58.91 seconds after the first and second runs, finishing ahead of Austria's Marco Schwarz, who posted a combined time of 1 minute and 59.35 seconds.

Kristoffersen's victory marked his 11th slalom win, tying him with Swedish legend Ingemar Stenmark for the most slalom wins by a European skier. Kristoffersen has been in top form this season, also winning slalom events in Flachau and Wengen.

Schwarz, who finished second in both runs, provided the closest challenge to Kristoffersen. The Austrian skier has been in excellent form himself this season, winning three slalom events and finishing second in two others.

The men's slalom in Adelboden is always a highly competitive event, attracting the top slalom skiers from around the world. The course at Chuenisbärgli is challenging but fair, and it provides plenty of opportunities for skiers to show their skills.
