Real Madrid Cruises to 3-1 Victory over Arandina in Copa del Rey
Real Madrid cruised to a comfortable 3-1 victory over fourth-tier side Arandina in the Copa del Rey on Saturday evening. The match was played at Estadio El Montecillo, home of Arandina.
Real Madrid dominated the game from start to finish and took the lead in the 18th minute when Brahim Díaz curled a beautiful strike into the top corner of the net.
The visitors doubled their lead in the 38th minute when Josélu headed home from a corner. Real Madrid continued to press in the second half and added a third goal in the 78th minute when Rodrygo found the back of the net.
Arandina pulled a goal back in the 87th minute through Cabral, but the game was already won by Real Madrid.
The win sees Real Madrid progress to the next round of the Copa del Rey, where they will face either Mallorca or Rayo Vallecano.
