The Four Hills Tournament is one of the most prestigious events in ski jumping, and it has been held since 1952. The tournament consists of four events, which are held at different ski jumping hills in Oberstdorf, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Innsbruck, and Bischofshofen.

The overall winner of the Four Hills Tournament is the jumper who accumulates the most points over the four events. The points are awarded based on the jumper's finishing position in each event, with the winner receiving 100 points.

Kobayashi's victory in the Four Hills Tournament is a significant achievement, as he has now won three of the most prestigious ski jumping events in the world. He previously won the World Championship in 2019 and the Ski Jumping World Cup in 2020.

Kobayashi is one of the most consistent and successful ski jumpers in the world, and he is sure to be one of the favorites to win the gold medal at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan-Cortina, Italy.
